NDP 08'

Oh well, NDP 08' just ended with a BANG! Woot, I'm so relieved; with sadness after i've finally completed what i'm supposed to do for the nation in this particular event.

Life's going back to the olden times, where we don't "iron bedsheets" so often. 'Everything on, lets get going' are some common words or phrases to be heard or used soon. "Focus" is what we all have to do from this point of time.

Anyway, back to NDP; Sense of satisfaction, the pride we had and the efforts all of us had given, were not gone to waste. Looking at the beautiful displays; sharp and swift movements, as well as well-coordinated moves; simply showed the heart and sweat participants had put in. Beautiful fireworks, the loud cheers from the audiences; all reciting the national pledge as well as singing out loud the national anthem, marks the end of everything. Looking at those today, i could still remember those days in NDP 2005 @ Padang. Being a participant myself, the anxiety and the enjoyment i had were what i couldn't experience easily. Performing in front of so many people; ministers, citizens and being on 'live' telecast isn't something that simple.

Instead of saying it's a waste of time, i found it fulfilling and enjoyed it much; even though its the 2nd time being part of the national day parade.

Btw, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DEAR FRIEND, TANG QISHENG, whos birthday was on 08/08/08. Congrats for joining the league for the 20s.
