Alright Alright... Its really a LONG time since I've last updated. Nothing much to include actually, just repetitive stuff.
Hmm... what should i say? The GP mid yrs paper was definitely tough, well to me it was. Couldn't complete the AQ and have little hope of passing my GP. Then, its holiday time!
OH! Didn't realise i've already written something about this genting trip... OK, shall edit the previous one then! Went Genting on the day i had my GP paper and well, not much changes to the place since i've been there last yr. The only thing was that weather isn't as cold as before. Oh ya, managed to smuggle into the casino for the first time but well, not a good place to go since its filled with cigarette smoke. The machines are so like "money eaters", rarely a chance to win money from them. However, i must say that both the casinos i've gone to are real big. To me, all the jackpot machines are like the same, just press some buttons and let it play by itself. Just press some buttons and you'll have high chances of losing money, that's not thrilling at all. I've made a joke, trying to imitate some regular gambler by putting my leg onto some elevated part of the machine. I told my sis that we would win when i try that and it actually worked! LOL! So when the luck runs out, i would change my leg, then if still no luck, put both of my legs up. Following on, we went to play the table roulette (not sure about the name though) and we ended up not winning anything. It was seriously boring inside, apart from watching people play and some free drinks inside there. Seeing so many people inside giving money away, now i understand how come casinos in the world are becoming bigger and richer. What a joke!
Ok, the last ever official training had ended and thus, the J2s have stepped down. Now, its time to focus on our studies and let the juniors carry on from here.
Helped out at the LTC this year though, for both the outdoor and HTC thingy. The outdoor part was seriously thumbs down as compared to last yr's, where we had trekking at ubin and building of raft. This year, they only had some long walk around sembawang. Last yr's main session to us, was the building of raft. fun fun =) ! The HTC session was fun and rather interesting and i've never regretted helping out for that section. It was quite funny though, as we were in their shoes last year, knowing that they're gonna have a hard time in the future.
Just sent off most of the J1s and some of the fellow J2 odacers for their June xp yesterday, being not able to join them for the trip to Yong Yap, temburong cave, white water rafting and climbing some other mountain. We envy the J1s, as they're attempting Yong Yap which is said to be more difficult that Ulu Sepat, the one we climbed last year. Well, the mountain is always there! White water rafting seriously rox! Its super fun and i highly recomend u pple to go and give it a try! The main task is to study hard for the mid years.
Ok, now to the mugging part, finally. For the first 2 weeks, i didn't feel like studying so i didn't. Didn't have the momentum, the will and focus to start, beside from some events which made me unable to do so. Well, i've just picked up the pace and i'll hope that it can carry on. Well, i shall forget about the GP mid yrs and concentrate on the other 3 subjects.
The next part was being brought over from the previous entry. The previous entry was removed as its being repetitive.
I'm utterly disappointed in Singaporeans sometimes. The 'kiasu' attitude is real bad as i can see from my experience. Was clearing the causeway yesterday and this incident made me feel disgusted. Alighted the causeway and was queuing up for my turn, but there were long queues. The bad thing is that people are cutting queues, forcing their way through, pushing and all sorts of rubbish. The worst thing was that they had cut queue, yet complaining that we had cut the queue even though we went by queueing up. There was no order at all, seriously. Inside me, there was this urge to shout at them and wake them up.
