ODAC orientation 1 06'

Oh well, yesterday we had ODAC orientation. Had lots of fun, playing with mud, detergent and food. Yes food! Woke up late and thus, reached school late, when we were supposed to meet at 7am. Got ready for the orientation, changed into the attire and stuff. Was a facil for group 2, to me, the most impressive and fun group. Quite a number of females this time round. First had ice-breakers which they were bombed with our special water bombs. Ingredients included are food colourings, soya sauce etc. Oh well, got a few of them by the J2s and J3. Then, we had 'zong ji mi mah' or guess the correct number and get a forfeit. It was hell lots of fun, and there were bombs flying around. At a point in time, my very good junior coburn kong, went to attack me. Luckily some J2 helped me, if not i'll die like mad. I must say that some of them are really impressive, both girls and guys.

The stations for ODAC orientation:
1. Drain walk
They had to walk the very big drain outside the school, all the way into the school compound, made to sing, do push-ups and sit-ups. Of course its so dirty, as they can find spider webs and other insects/ creatures in it. Yes, they had to walk in the water, and even sat in it. They sort of enjoyed it, with the 'drain man' aaron in-charge.

2. Butter slide
At the slope behind the mph, J1s were made to run up the slope. Of course it wasn't made so easy for them. With the ground sheet covered with oil, butter, detergent and mud, they had to try and get themselves up. It requires teamwork as well. Group 2, finished this task first, amongst the 3 groups. Quite funny to see them do this task, failed and would slide down into the pool of mud.

3. Trust walk. Blindfolded, they were required to form a chain, one behind another and hand on the front person's shoulder. Then, they walked from the road at the science block, up to the SOC. Then, they started to get extremely dirty. Ingredients on them were: chili sauce, noodles, starch, coffee, mud etc. Could see strands of noodles hanging from their heads etc, quite gross actually. Next, then were told to do different task, and had to crawl on the pool of mud then slide down some slope with oil and butter. Of course the J2s and J3s had fun, and started attacking each other.

Well, after it had ended and the J1s went back to the mph, we cleaned up the mess we had made at the SOC. Bet the school's gonna come after us about the pool of mud we had created, when it was all grass.

Shall end off here and start doing my homework. Hope i can push myself, make myself work hard until 'A' levels has finished. Also try my best to push my classmates along, to study harder and also train harder to improve our physical. Really wish these classmates of mine would push me along as well.
