A new year - 2006

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Welcome to the year 2006 and put the past behind, look ahead of us for new challenges and events.

A brief summary of year 2005:
Unable to attend 1st 3 months. Went for a holiday at the first day when school reopened. Worked at BCH before CNY. Admission into CJC. 1T25. Orientation-Incendium. Class lunch. Class soccer. LTC group 1. Inter-ODAC J1 vs J2 soccer at marina bay. ODAC expedition-June. Tent washing. Mid-yrs. Nationals TKD tournament. Mugging. Promos. Promoted to j2. ODAC expedition-Nov. Tent washing. Class chalet at changi. Officially certified as 1st dan for TKD. 2nd class chalet at downtown.

2005 was a year which I had expreienced a lot of new and special things. Can say that it was a happening year. I had met many many new friends from work, from cjc, ltc and many other places. I've never regretted knowing these people and of course, i appreciate all my old friends, who went through so much with me before. Thanks to Alex, Qisheng, Aloysius, T25 peeps and ltc group 1 members who went through so much with me. Not to forget, my ODAC pals and seniors, thank you! Teachers as well!, for instance Ms Giam, Ms Peh etc.
I was so lucky and glad that i was able to enter CJ, but sad at the same time when my best pal couldn't get in. Me liking outdoor activities, I had decided to join ODAC. It gave me opportunities to improve myself in terms of skills and also knowledge, as there is an aspect called knowledge which we have to know. Only after joining ODAC, i started to run long distance and able to do pull ups. When I was in ODAC in 2005, it wasn't a smooth journey for me, where there were ups and downs, habouring thought of quitting. Managed to learn more about ropes, attended kayaking course with the other ODACers, went white water rafting during June xp and even studied together before trainings.
I was and still gald that I went for the LTC. It allowed me to know more friends in school, from other classes, different CCAs etc. Its really important to know more friends while u're in a rather foreign place and people around you are new. The 3 days course helped me certainly. I've enjoyed those pre-camp trainings and the camp itself. Still remembering the fun we had, games we played together and even persevered together at the pulau ubin trip. These memories are unforgetable and I will always keep them in my mind. Remembered the food we had consumed, packets of rice etc, and kai wen sweeping down the food into his mouth. The achievements we had: one of the few teams completing the ubin race and we are a HTC team, not a CCA team. We also managed to work well as a team, co-operate and being decisive. Missed those days of pre-camp trainings and the camp itself.
Now to T25. T25, a class which only had 3 gals??!! Haha. At first there were 8 Sji guys, 8 marist, 3 st. pats guys, 1 gim moh, 1 gabrielite and 3 gals + 1 more guy. Had lots of fun together, but went through scoldings from teachers as well. A gamer class I should say. Always have got activities one... be it lunch or outing or playing. Alright... shan't talk so much about it.

Resolution for year 2006:
  1. Do well for my A levels
  2. Get fitter
  3. Get something from my wish list
  4. Stay in contact with all my friends
  5. Hope that T25 still remains
  6. -unknown-

A new year, a new beginning. Hope things goes well for me! CYA!
