Post 1T25 chalet

Finally, another post. Still waiting for Teng Yi to post his ultra long post, after a week has passed? Sure he has lots to talk about.
Shall start talking about friday. Friday was the day everybody in the class looking forward to. Cos it was the day for our class chalet. Somehow, it was also the day to hand up our Project Work written report. As expected, there were many not around in school. Handed up PW WR then had lessons, which we practically did nothing. Used these free time and tried to do my PW powerpoint slides. Managed to do a bit. The day ended off with chinese lecture. The LT was darn cold. Eug, darren and I were like shivering during lect. Didn't bring windbreaker thus we keep ourselves warm with all sorts of methods. The lecture finished and we rushed towards the exit and the warmth was great.
At night, went for my class chalet, which was held at NSRCC, changi safra. Proceeded to East Coast and waited for them and went on to get my bike. Rather cheap, as the rental fees was like $8 for overnight. Headed for Macs and left with Marc and gang to chalet, while Aug, Hong and Wilfred waited for the rest. Cycled all the way to the chalet and I found it rather near. Put my stuffs down at chalet, prepared and waited for the rest. The bikes we got were seriously not bad, well maintained and good gears.
Then, we went for a cycling 'expedition' from our chalet, all the way to changi village using the road beside changi airport. We experienced many takeoffs of aircrafts which we rarely get to do so. Reached changi village and had our 'supper/breakfast' at the hawker center. After a while, we headed back to our chalet. Unfortunately, it rained halfway on the journey back. The rain was very heavy and the conditions for cycling was really bad. Nic, Van and I turned at the wrong junction and luckily nic discovered that. Then, we turned around and somehow got our way back.
The rained caused an 'accident' between aug and esther, causing aug to have a scratch on his knees. At least everyone made it back to the chalet, enduring the difficulties faced. Everyone slept in the end
In the morning, darren came to the chalet with lots of stuffs for the bbq. So sorry to have troubled his mother in helping us carrying the things in. Well, then we went to return our bikes and had lunch at Macs. Went to Katong to play lan, but was full, so a few of us played pool in the end. Bryan, darren and I left earlier, hoping to catch a movie. But to our dismay, there wasn't any cinema nearby. Thus, we had to abort our movie-catching plan. Went back to our chalet and I played the Xbox, after competing with darren for the use.
Had our first ever 1T25 bbq and there were tonnes of food. Couldn't finish them all. Teachers joined us and we had a great time. Oh ya, and Ms Giam have got this new hermit crab as her pet. Lolx. Then some of them played mahjong while some played Xbox.
The second morning was rather ok, but had to check out and we rushed in packing up our things in the frig and around in the chalet. We left and a group of us had lunch together. darren, iggy, ken and I decided to catch 'flight plan' but we had about 1 hr plusbefore the show starts. Decided to plan Lan. Oh man, the combo of Ken and iggy was zai in playing CS. Thought we had to pay $3.10 for 1 hr of lan, but we paid $1.40 in the end. Didn't see the sign for 'happy hour'. Well, that's even better.
The show was great, that's all I want to say.
Went straight back home, as I was dead tired and very broke. Reached home, washed up my stuffs, bathed and went to sleep. Slept for like hours before I was woken up to take my dinner.
Really like to thank Hong and Darren, by putting in so much effort and time in making the class chalet a successful and enjoyable one. Thanks guys!
Shall end it off now. Tata.
